About the Company

Bol-KA Yapı Restorasyon is an Ankara-based company working in building, construction, restoration and the conservation of historic buildings. Founded in 2011, we are based in Kale Mahallesi in Altındağ, at the heart of Ankara’s historic fabric.

We combine traditional building techniques with modern engineering and construction methods to deliver high-quality, reliable and long-lasting projects. Before intervening in a building we take the time to understand it, examining its materials, architectural character and technical needs on site.

Our work centres on historic Ankara houses, stone mosques and masonry buildings. We work on every layer of a traditional building, from andesite stone walls and timber-framed upper floors to bay windows, eaves and window and door joinery. Kündekari timber ceilings, carved ceiling roses, balustrades, staircases, doors and minbars are the most distinctive parts of our craftsmanship.

On listed buildings we work strictly according to the projects and decisions approved by the relevant conservation board. We preserve original elements wherever possible and remake the parts that must be replaced with faithful materials and techniques. On site we keep close control of safety, order and the work schedule.

Alongside restoration we undertake construction and contracting, stonework, landscaping and special building projects in keeping with traditional architecture. We treat every completed job as a work that represents our company, and we value transparent, long-term relationships with our clients.
